Estel and Debbie Pontoon Boat done with Lettering Enamel

The boats front rails had got damaged and so they were replaced.
However they needed the graphics on the side to match up with the vinyl graphics on the rest of the railing. So I matched that up and they wanted me to put a scene on the front.

Using lettering enamel over the existing finish goes quicker than having to prep the finish and clear coat over the artwork. However there’s disadvantages to this method.
The main being that time is very limited on creating the artwork.
A solid base of color has to be rolled out first, ending with a sharp edge,
which can be pin stripped. In this case I used red. Then while the paint is wet, I can airbrush colors in; known as wet on wet.
