Infinity Fitness / Omni and the Body Spa

Omni is another gym more for personally training people and it was moved in with Infinity Fitness. Also it’s the entrance to the Body Spa. I was given quotes to paint up along the ceiling edge, filling the entire room.

I also used lettering enamel and hand painted the logos on the door.

Body Spa Logo

We had to come up with a name and since the spa is in a gym, I thought a good name was Body Spa. So I then created the logo. Pen and inked it. Then I put it in photoshop to digitize it.

I also painted the logo on a wall.

And on a painted it on door which can be seen in the work I did for Omni.

Infinity Fitness Aerobics Room

February 5, 2013

For the aerobics room at Infinity Fitness, I used fluorescent paint to paint the walls. It really jazzed up the room along with the dance lights and all.

The room is used for Zumba, Spinning and Silver Sneaker classes, etc.

The dragon on the wall is wearing a calorie polar heart rate monitor watch, lol.

Gave him a Polar tattoo and put Burnin’ Calories in the fire to motivate.

Reap and Rebirth

February 2, 2013

I love my concept with this. It’s a follow up to the last one I did.

There’s hidden anguished souls, faces in the robe.

The idea was to create the yin and yang symbol and death and the phoenix contrast one another.

2 Gunz

This was a fun one that I enjoyed.

The bike was painted using kandy root beer. So for the murals on the back of the saddle bags, I used similar shades to match the root beer.

I included in the gallery the pictures of the process.

House of Beer Body Paint Jam 2012

I seen an event for a body paint jam on facebook at House of Beer, and I notice a couple or so people I knew going. I asked someone and was told I should come out with someone I’ve body painted. It was a good excuse to do up someone with little more creativity involved. Time wasn’t still quite on my side as it often isn’t when I body paint but I was happy with what I created.

I painted over the pasties and for some reason it’s hard to not want to paint a nipple back over the pasties, lol. However I had an idea in mind to make the fake nipple appear to be pierced with a large needle. I then had it threaded with a string and attached to another large hook needle. Using some latex skin stuff called zombie skin, I made it look like the large hook needle is piercing the faces eye brow. The same thing was done for the other needle.

At the paint jam there was many models and photographers and artist and with great works. Nix Nerrera had put on the event. Last I knew he was on the show Face Off which is a reality television game show on the Syfy cable network in which a group of prosthetic makeup artist competes.

Also gotta thank Jay Bautista who I met back when along with the Wolfe Brothers, who let me barrow one of his paint brushes for a real quick touch up on my model.

After everyone was painted they did photo shoots with everyone together.

I also hung out with photographer Kato Rand a bit and we both took some photos of my model.

House of Beer in Orlando has 100 some beers I think it is on tap. What a selection.

Jambando 2012 FunkUs Jams Pink Floyd

Once again I paint on stage with FunkUs at the Jambando music fest at the Plaza Theater in Orlando. All the bands that played were to pick a band that played in the 70’s. FunkUs jammed out an entire set of Pink Floyd.

You can check them out at:

To be a little more visible body painting from the stage which was dark a lot and contending with lighted effect, I used fluorescent body paint along with a couple black lights to illuminate the paint.

I started my model out with a brick wall, using fluorescent yellow between the bricks as the cement to shine, and a heart inside a missing brick. We took some before photo shots of course.

On stage I only had 30 minutes to paint as that was how long each band played for. I used a gear stencil I had that I had never really used but it made for quick convenience. I painted a flying pink pig and a diamond.

Later that night we went to clubs down town and one club owner insisted we go in his club at no charge. Even got a couple shots of her dancing on top of one of the bars.
